Samsung Galaxy
Two illustrations created for Samsung, which were released as part of their ‘Art of the Month’ series in 2026. I was the official artist for March, so I created these two illustrations, which were available to download as phone wallpapers on the global Galaxy Store for the month.
“With this animated piece, I wanted to continue the story from the first illustration and show the passage of time, as the red flowers are now fully bloomed. This illustration is from the perspective of the character in the first illustration: sunlight comes in through her open window, clouds drift by, and a butterfly passes, suggesting the world slowly waking from winter. I’ve illustrated an open journal and a warm cup of coffee, to represent taking time to recharge and look after yourself, ready for a new season. This scene, for me, is about movement and reassurance: even when life feels slow or difficult, things keep growing, and Spring reminds us that patience, hope, and care eventually bring something beautiful.”
“For this piece, I wanted to capture a simple, peaceful moment, consisting of my character finally outside in her garden after a long winter, watering her flowers and waiting for them to bloom. Only one red flower has opened so far, with the rest still buds, acting as a little reminder that growth takes time. I added a ladybird design on her jumper as a symbol of good luck, something I often associate with spring and new beginnings. For me, this piece is about slowing down, taking care, and appreciating that in-between stage when change is happening, even if we can’t see it yet!”
